The Professional Association of Alexander Teachers (PAAT) was founded in 1986 to support the well-being of its members and to provide regular opportunities for Continuous Professional Development. PAAT’s training course for teachers was begun by Brian Door in 1979 and has continued to promote a high standard of Alexander Technique training and teaching ever since.
PAAT began an exciting new chapter in its history in 2023 when its Training Course was re-structured as a hybrid course to take account of an international demand for Alexander Technique teacher training and to embrace collaboration with Alexander teaching colleagues around the world. The future looks bright for International Alexander Teacher Training and the Alexander Technique!
